Just 500 metes from Porta San Donato (one of the twelve gates of the ancient walls built in the Middle Ages) is situated restaurant La Stalla. Originality of this place conceals in the building itself. Formerly it was a stable for bulls and cows. Being perfectly restructured La Stalla seems to be almost a place from another times surrounded with verdure. The bull’s head image on the front reminds of “clients” from the past, in other words - cows and bulls, which were feeding from the racks that are still visible.
Inside the restaurant the furniture is in traditional style. The agreeable atmosphere is being created by wood tables, colonnades, vaulted ceiling and manifold candles in the evening, which one can find in the fresh garden of the restaurant as well. |
